Broiler Concentrate for Cobb 100 and Cobb 400
|
|
|
With the experience gained in making Feed Formulations for its valued customers, the Company has started making Broiler Concentrates for both Cobb – 100 and Cobb – 400. These Concentrates are prepared using the most precise computerized
Formulations.
Following are the contents of “GoodRich Broiler Concentrates”, and their benefits to the Poultry Integrators and Farmers – Full Fat Soya –
The Company is already running a large Full Fat Soya Plant with technology support from ‘INTSOY’, USA. The Company has adopted a unique ‘Dry – Steam’ technology to make Full Fat Soya, which includes progressive Cooking and Drying of Whole Soyabeans by controlling 4 important variables namely, Time, Temperature, Pressure and Moisture. As a result, the Trypsin Inhibitor and Urease activities in Soya are brought down to very low levels, while the Protein Solubility Index is maintained at very high level. Oil in GoodRich Full Fat Soya is stable in the Flour, preventing the occurrence of rancidity.
Full Fat Soya has been regarded as a viable alternate for the conventional practice of adding Soya DOC and Soya Oil separately to the Poultry Feeds.
Nutritional advantages of GoodRich Full Fat Soya are-
- High Energy and high Protein contents.
- Protein digestibility more than 90%.
- High oil quality and high oil digestibility. Oil is
vital for reducing heat stress.
- High tocopherol content for oil stability and birds’ immunity.
- High levels of essential (Omega) fatty acids – Linoleic, Linolenic and Arachidonic - vital for growth.
- High content of Lecithin – important in fat metabolism and nervous function.
- High nutrient density and excellent palatability
"GoodRich" Full fat Soya is added at appropriate levels in Broiler Concentrates.
|
Lecithin – The Company makes Lecithin in-house and caters the same to the Feed manufacturers. Lecithin is a phospholipid, which is separated and purified mainly from Soyabean oil at the time of refining.
Nutritional advantages of Soya Lecithin are - - Experiments have proved that addition of Lecithin in Poultry Feeds improves the growth and Feed conversion ratio.
- Retention of fat soluble vitamins (Vitamins-A, D, E and K) can be enhanced in the presence of Lecithin.
- Phospholipids stimulate mucosal protein synthesis in the gut and hence the digestion of protein is improved.
- Lecithin is a natural
anti-oxidant.
- Lecithin prevents perosis. It also has a beneficial effect on the bone formation.
- Lecithin is a fatty material and provides concentrated source of energy. It also prevents heat stress.
Lecithin is a source of
Choline and Inositol. Lecithin contains Phosphatidyl choline, which completely replaces the use of synthetic Choline Chloride in the Feeds. Hence the ill-effects of synthetic Choline Chloride such as interacting with vitamins and minerals and reducing their strength etc. can be overcome. Lecithin also contains Phosphatidyl Inositol, which is a B group vitamin. Inositol acts as a growth promoter in chicks and prevents ‘Fatty livers’ and ‘Gout’ in
Poultry. Phospholipids in the form of Lecithin are essential for lipid metabolism. Broilers have an immature gastro-intestinal system, producing insufficient bile acids. Lecithin enhances the emulsification of the lipids in the small intestine and as a result, digestibility of dietary fat, growth and feed conversion are improved. Numerous trials have revealed 3.5% to 5% increase in the digestibility of lipids in broilers with the addition of
Lecithin.
“GoodRich” Lecithin is added in the required proportions to the Broiler Concentrates.
|
Vitamins and Minerals – GoodRich Broiler Concentrates contain all the Vitamins and Minerals as per COBB recommendations. However, sufficient overages have been added to prevent the loss of sensitive vitamins.
|
Amino acids, medicines etc. – GoodRich Broiler Concentrates have been balanced to contain exact proportions of Amino acids. Lysine and DL-methionine have been added as per requirements. Similarly, the Broiler Concentrate is enriched with Medicines, Anti-coccidials, Organic acids, Toxin binders, Anti-oxidants and several gut stabilizers including Pro-biotics and Pre-biotics.
Poultry farmers always prefer to make their own feeds. However, sometimes it leads to uneven mixing of feed ingredients and wrong calculation of nutritional requirements. Farmers are also required to hold large inventories and control quality aspects, without having their own laboratories.
GoodRich Broiler Concentrates provide answers for the above problems. While the quality of Full Fat Soya and Lecithin are assured in the factory itself, other ingredients are meticulously checked in the in-house laboratory. Hence the customers are assured of best quality and timely supplies.

- |
1. |
The anticipated performance of growth rate and feed efficiency are subject to scientific management, including bio-security of the flocks. |
|
|
|
|
2. |
For best results, please ensure the quality of Soya DOC which should have a minimum of 46% Protein on ‘As is basis’ and a maximum of 0.2 Urease Activity (As per the present Technology available). Beware of contaminated Soya DOC which is sometimes adulterated with de-oiled rice bran on one hand and UREA on the other. |
